Editing E=MC² Campus

The E=MC<sup>2</sup> Campus is the primary building and property of the Governor's School in Hartsville, South Carolina.

The campus was constructed by [http://brantleyconstruction.com Brantley Construction] and finished in 2003.{{Citation needed}}

The building is 140,115 sq/ft and consists of a four-story dormitory that houses 300 students, two double story wings, faculty and staff offices, a gym, and a metal E=MC<sup>2</sup> sculpture.<ref>[https://brantleyconstruction.com/projects/governors-school-science-math/|"Governors School of Science and Math"] ''Brantley Construction'', Accessed 16 January 2026. </ref>
The building did not initially have a fourth dormitory floor or north or south wings.
The front driveway was constructed in the shape of a keyhole to model the previous "GSSM is the keyhole" slogan.

Planned extensions to the campus include a visitor center and engineering building.
