The Community Meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of every month in the school year. They were created by President Danny Dorsel in 2023. These meetings are advertised as "A time to Celebrate and Inform." The meetings usually follow the same format: First, the President celebrates achievement from the student, faculty, and staff. Next, the President reminds the attendees about upcoming events. Next, a competition is held, and finally the attendees sing the GSSM Alma Mater. == Celebrate == The President begins each meeting by congratulating students, faculty, and staff for their various achievements. These achievements typically include research conducted by faculty and academic or athletic competitions won or participated in by students. == Inform == During the meeting, the President informs students about upcoming test dates, Long Weekends, and other events. == Competition == The meetings are finalized with a competition between volunteers from the students, faculty, and staff. During the 2023-24 school year, the competitions were created and hosted by the President, but in the 2024-25 school year the competitions were created and hosted by The Committee for Inclusive Excellence.
