He is most famous for being the euphonist for the third-wave ska band Skavoovie & The Epitones. Founded in greater Boston, Massachusetts, in 1992, the band went on to tour the United States and Europe and released four albums before disbanding in 2000. In 2024, Skavoovie and the Epitones reunited for the Supernova International Ska Festival. His band nickname was Crawdaddy Wensink. Joeseph Wensink is a fan of Shakespeare and Post-modern literature, teaching both in his English courses.
