Greetings and Salutations!
I hope this email finds you all well as we gear up for Convocation and the first Long Weekend. It's been a fast almost four weeks and I trust the semester has gotten off to a good start for all of you.
Beginning this Sunday, September 8, and for the next five Sundays after the 8th, I will be hosting what I am calling "Vibing with the VP." I am asking the residents of each house to meet me in the SAC Movie Room at 10:00 p.m. for conversation, chips, and cookies. At least one member of the Student Council will be helping me host. The gatherings are designed as give me the opportunity to hear from you and what's on your minds. Hopefully, they will also allow you to get to know a little more about me.
I am asking that residents come with their houses based on the following schedule:
Sunday, September 8 - Fidelitas
Sunday, September 15, Praesidium
Sunday, September 22, Fortem
Sunday, September 29, Libertatem
Sunday, October 6, Lux
Sunday, October 13, Veritas
Vibe can be defined as the atmosphere of a place or sometimes a person. I trust that those of you who will take the time to join me will feel positive vibes as a result. 🙂
Note that these meetings are not required, but I strongly encourage you to come and hang out with me during Happy Half at the designated time on the day reserved for your floor. When I felt impressed to do this and consulted a few seniors about this best time, Sunday night at 10:00 was the recommendation. Please plan to join me.
