Title: Hard to Watch

Well, I've been around the world a couple times, been at 2 world fairs and seen some really cool things. Tonight, what I watched was just a dumpster fire goat rode, whirl wind of awful.

JV walked out for the first set and seemingly was uninterested in fully participating so they took an old school beating. The second set was better, and they fought hard but fell. Varsity took the court and absolutely dominated the first set and crushed McBee hard.

The second set was close 24-26 that went to McBee. The next two sets were a horror show. My team apparently suffered from brain freeze. They were on the court, but while McBee was busy playing volleyball, my team was playing a strange kind of Tasmanian shovel ball. The wheels completely came off the struggle bus, and we watched as balls just hit the floor. We gave the games away.

Sometimes the truth hurts but it must be heard. I need to coach better our team needs to play better. Not sure how we will fix this, but we will find a way. Title: Diners driveins and dives oh my

This evening your teams took a road trip to Great Falls, and they were hungry. Once we got there we decided to EAT, and we had an Eagles feast.

JV started out a bit slow, basically they were waving from the windows of the struggle bus in set one. Coach Emily finally told them the door was open and out they came. They battled thru the next two sets and brought home the win in fine stile.

The senior captain took varsity to the court and played a much better game than Tuesday. They ran a new offense, and did it pretty well. At one point one of your hitters stuck a well passed, well set ball like Lightning hits a tree. That ball hit a Great Falls back row player so fast and so hard that it put her on the floor. She went down like a zombie takes a head shot. So, dominance was established. To the fallen players' credit, she got up and kept playing, tough kid has my respect. Your teams did well this evening. There will be challenges ahead, our girls will rise to them. Miss Denise was pleased with the outcome. Well done ladies. Title: Opening Day

This evening your girls rolled across town and opened their volleyball season against ECS. JV took the court first. They fought hard but ECS had more heat than they could handle. Tip of the hat to ECS JV, they took the win. Our JV will get better. Then your Varsity team took the court. ECS came out pretty hard and they had some spice. Your ladies had moments of shine and then they would make me grit my teeth and growl. We have plenty more work ahead of us, but in the end your team handed them an across-town beat down and took the match in a three-set sweep. Sweet opening win - well done, ladies.
