Alfred Degennaro, PhD is a Computer Science teacher. He used to work at NASA. He often uses allegories and metaphors to explain Computer Science. He enjoys Linux and has a penguin poster on his wall.

His teaching style revolves around discussing a common problem or topic in computer science, going on a tangent, saying "Wait a' hold it", and then following that up with a solution to it. Most of his assigned work comes from MIT, Stanford, or github, and in most classes he is searching reddit for an answer. Similar to this he grades all assignments and tests with an automated system so that he does not have to.
