Can yall really make accurate difficulty assessments on teachers?

[edit]

I feel like the category is too subjective to have all the different editors put in their own opinion fairly. For example, some people consider teachers who have more opaque grading systems to be difficult, while others might weight the duration of homework, or difficulty of tests/material covered more. Personally, I think some of the ratings are a little wack.

there currently isn't an effective way to analyze difficulty as it changes from person to person and also department. The current indicator is based on people who have taken courses with respective teachers and the difficulty indicator is subject to change once we have a better solution. I agree with Jeddings -- People who take Sris's Number Theory will think he's a lot more difficult than people who take his MAT230/231 class. Maybe we should get rid of it? It could also be that it shouldn't be taken seriously. Xantholeucophore (talk) 18:55, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
